Clara

Clara is a professional writer and expert essay instructor, with many years of experience helping students one-on-one with their college application essays. Clara has guided students through the college essay process with College Choice Counseling for four years, helping many students gain admission to the University of Michigan, Notre Dame, Michigan State, University of California institutions, and countless other colleges and universities.

Clara has extensive experience supporting students in humanities and writing courses at the high school and college level, including AP Language and Composition, university-level Art History, and more. As a graduate student, she taught six university terms at the University of Oregon as an Introduction to Composition and Introduction to Poetry instructor.

Clara is a working writer and poet, and her work has been featured in publications such as The Kenyon Review and other prestigious publications.
