Essay Coach and Application Assistant
Katelyn is a graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing her Master’s of Science in Sociolinguistics in Education. Previously she earned a B.A. degree in English and Spanish from the University of Michigan, after which she taught high school English for two years. During her teaching career, Katelyn served as a journalism teacher and member of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association, leading her students to receive outstanding recognition at state and national levels. Having instructed high school seniors on personal statements in the Common Application in the past, Katelyn is excited to advise students in a one-on-one setting on how to leverage their identities and experiences in order to achieve success with their college application essays.
