Ty

Ty is 1 of 35 students in the class of 2027 at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is currently a Second Lieutenant in the US army on a four-year, full-tuition scholarship. He is an experienced DAT tutor and dental school counselor.

He graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. While at BYU, he became an Alvina Soffel Barrett scholar (full-tuition, academic scholarship), served as the program director for Provo Youth Mentoring—which is a program designed to mentor and uplift underprivileged youth—and was a chemistry teaching assistant.

Ty has successfully tutored numerous students who went on to score 24+ (96-99th percentile) on the DAT. His chemistry mastery has facilitated successful tutoring for high school students as well. His students love his people-first approach and constant “check-up” questions. In addition to DAT tutoring, Ty also provides admission and application counseling—interview help, personal statement crafting, secondary question assistance, and program specifics.
